Job summary

PA Consulting in Manchester is seeking a Data Engineer to join our Digital & Data team. You will contribute to ETL pipelines, data warehouse design and data lake building on AWS, collaborating with product, design and other experts across sectors.

Hybrid working with two days in the office per week, learning-driven culture, and opportunities to gain certifications. You’ll work on varied projects using Java, Python, Scala, Spark and SQL.

Qualifications

• Problem-solving and analytical thinking required.
• Strong collaboration with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience designing and deploying data pipelines in big data architectures using Java/Python/Scala/Spark/SQL.
• Experience writing scripts and SQL queries; data extraction via APIs.
• Processing large structured and unstructured data on AWS cloud (native or custom).

Responsibilities

• Work to agile best practices with multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Design and build data solutions for the AWS cloud.
• Collaborate on internal projects and client work with cross-functional teams.
