Job summary

PA Consulting hires a Data Engineer to design and build scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions. You will work across multiple sectors, collaborating with product, design and engineering teams to deliver data-driven outcomes.

The role emphasizes AWS cloud, big data processing, and secure data movement, with hybrid work expectations and opportunities to grow technical and client-focused skills.

Qualifications

• Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience designing and deploying production data pipelines using Java, Python, Scala, Spark and SQL.
• Experience writing scripts, extracting data via APIs, and writing SQL queries.
• Experience processing large amounts of structured and unstructured data on AWS, including ingestion and curation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multiple teams to solve problems and deliver client solutions.
• Participate in in-person whiteboarding sessions and Teams-based collaboration.
• Hybrid work with client site or office at least two days per week.
• Deliver transformative digital solutions for PA's clients.
• Design and build solutions for the AWS cloud.
