Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a seasoned engineering leader to drive multiple feature teams in the UK, spanning Java, GCP data engineering and DevOps. You will oversee delivery, unblock issues and improve productivity across the program.

You will engage client stakeholders, report progress and ensure successful business outcomes while providing strong technical leadership and driving automation and debt reduction across engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java, GCP BigQuery, Spark, Kafka and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with NoSQL and PostgreSQL databases, Kubernetes, and agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead multiple feature teams (Java engineers, GCP Data Engineers and DevOps).
• Deliver features, unblock tech issues and boost productivity.
• Engage client stakeholders, report delivery progress and drive business outcomes.
• Provide technical oversight and drive engineering improvements and debt reduction.
