Job summary

London Stock Exchange is seeking a senior Cloud Data Engineering, Analytics and ML leader to drive architectural strategy and hands-on delivery for large-scale data platforms.

You will mentor distributed engineering teams, design ETL pipelines in SQL/Python/dbt, and lead AI integration across products, ensuring robust CI/CD and data governance in AWS/Azure environments.

This role demands strategic thinking, strong communication, and proven experience delivering enterprise data warehouse solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and mentoring distributed or remote engineering teams.
• Expertise in building and optimizing ETL pipelines with SQL, Python, dbt.
• Experience with AI development tools and platforms (GPT APIs, Copilot).
• Architect and implement robust CI/CD pipelines across AWS/Azure environments.
• Strong Snowflake architecture and AWS services knowledge.
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks.
• 10+ years in data engineering, data warehousing, analytics or similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical decisions and provide strategic architectural guidance.
• Lead technology assessment for new products/features.
• Design and build cloud solutions on AWS or Azure.
• Collaborate with product management, design, quality, and manufacturing teams.
