Role Overview:
As a Cloud Consolidation Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery aspects of our cloud consolidation projects. You will work closely with the Cloud Consolidation Project Owner, coordinating with vendors and full-time employees (FTE) to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and meets all technical and business requirements. This role focuses on delivery management, ensuring that all project activities are executed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Management:Oversee the day-to-day delivery of cloud consolidation projects. Ensure that all project activities are executed according to the project plan and timeline.
Vendor Coordination:Coordinate with external vendors to ensure that their deliverables meet project requirements and timelines. Manage vendor relationships and contracts.
Resource Allocation:Allocate and manage resources, including FTE and contractors, to ensure that project tasks are completed efficiently.
Stakeholder Communication:Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, including the Cloud Consolidation Project Owner, to provide updates on project progress and address any issues or concerns.
Risk Management:Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
Quality Assurance:Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and best practices. Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance.
Documentation:Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including delivery plans, status reports, and post-delivery reviews.
Qualifications:
Experience:Proven experience in managing the delivery of cloud consolidation projects, preferably in a complex, data-intensive environment.
Technical Skills:Good understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud consolidation strategies. Familiarity with cloud engineering practices and tools.
Project Management:Excellent project management skills, with experience using project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
Communication:Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Leadership:Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience managing and coordinating teams.
Problem-Solving:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
