Job summary

BPM Tech is looking for an experienced Back End / Cloud Developer to join a growing technology team and help build scalable, secure and reliable cloud-based applications. You’ll focus on back-end development and cloud infrastructure, collaborating with front-end developers to deliver robust services and APIs.

You’ll design scalable back-end services, REST APIs with Node.js and TypeScript, and serverless apps on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB).

Qualifications

• Proven commercial experience with back-end development.
• Strong knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience building REST APIs and cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on AWS serverless and NoSQL data modeling.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and automated tests.
• Understanding of OWASP security principles.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing scalable back-end services and APIs.
• Building and maintaining REST APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Developing serverless applications using AWS.
• Working with services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3 and DynamoDB.
• Designing and implementing effective NoSQL data models.
• Contributing to cloud architecture and technical design.
• Developing secure, reliable and high-performing applications.
• Supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Monitoring, troubleshooting and improving production services.
• Applying cloud security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Working closely with front-end developers to deliver integrated solutions.
• Contributing to Agile development practices and technical decision-making.
