Role: GCP Cloud Architect

We are seeking a GCP Cloud Architect to play an active role in transforming customers’ cloud platforms through designing and implementing GCP cloud technologies.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Engage in projects related to cloud architecture with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
2. Execute cloud strategy development and migration projects.
3. Define technical tasks and estimates required to implement designs.
4. Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions for distributed systems and applications.
5. Design and architect cloud migration and cloud-native solutions.
6. Design and implement automation pipelines for deployment into GCP.
7. Design GCP Cloud environments.
8. Implement Google Cloud Platform within large regulated enterprise environments.
9. Evaluate Data Centre strategies.
10. Nurture cloud computing expertise internally and externally to drive cloud adoption.
11. Work closely with the delivery team to provide input on industry trends to tailor delivery offerings.
12. Understand enterprise customer requirements and collaborate with internal teams to guide solutions.
13. Travel to and work from client sites as needed.

What You'll Bring to the Role:

1. Strong IT consulting experience with GCP Public Cloud solutions.
2. Experience in cloud computing with GCP, especially cloud-first application development.
3. Hands-on experience with GCP services and solution architecture.
4. Implementation experience with GCP services like Compute, Containers, Storage, IAM, SDN, and orchestration tools like GKE.
5. Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Helm, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
6. Knowledge of cloud-native solutions focusing on network, IAM, infrastructure, logging, monitoring, and secrets management.
7. Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Bash, PowerShell, PHP, Ruby, Node.js.
8. Ability to learn new platforms, tools, and languages quickly.
9. Experience with source control systems like Git.
10. Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with all organizational levels.
11. Ability to identify technology trends and build campaigns.
12. Experience working in onsite-offshore models is preferred.
13. Pre-sales experience is a plus.
