Job summary

Proactive Recruitment are currently looking for a Print/Press Operative to join our client located in Coatbridge. This temporary role offers the potential to become permanent for the right candidate with immediate starts.

The role focuses on operating DTF printing equipment for workwear embroidery/printing. Training will be provided, and candidates should be IT literate and detail oriented to ensure quality and efficiency in production.

Qualifications

• IT literate with good attention to detail.
• Experience in embroidery/printing is desirable but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain DTF printing equipment, including printers and powder shakers.
• Prepare and process print files and artwork for production.
• Load, print and cure DTF transfers according to production requirements.
• Identify and report printing defects, equipment issues and material wastage.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Carry out routine cleaning and basic maintenance of printing equipment.
• Monitor stock levels, transfer film, inks, powders and other production materials.
• Press the designs onto the garments.
• Assist with packing, labelling and dispatching completed orders when required.

Our client specializes in workwear embroidery/printing. Experience in this sector is desired however not essential as training will be provided.
