Job summary

Bupa UK is seeking a Clinical Unit Manager in Maidenhead to lead a care home unit, ensuring the highest standards of resident care and clinical governance. You will supervise a team, deliver clinical guidance, and champion person-centred care.

You will build relationships with residents, families and local partners while maintaining accurate records and promoting the home’s values. Commitment to NMC code is essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and a commitment to the Codes of Conduct.
• Passion for elderly care and promoting independence, choice and dignity.
• Effective communicator able to build relationships with residents and families.
• Experience leading, motivating and mentoring a clinical team.
• Respectful, compassionate team player who gives personal best.

Responsibilities

• Promote resident independence and dignity by ensuring high care standards at all times.
• Assess residents’ wellbeing and maintain accurate records across physical, emotional and social needs.
• Provide clinical guidance and lead by example to ensure safe, smooth running of the home.
• Build relationships with residents, families and the local community to raise the home’s profile.
• Liaise with local partners to strengthen community ties and care quality.
