Job summary

Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust seeks a one-year fixed-term post in its AI research team to coordinate and deliver trials, recruit and consent patients, and manage data collection. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure adherence to protocol and ICH-GCP standards.

The role requires NMC registration or equivalent accreditation and the ability to mentor junior staff, with opportunities for training and professional development within the Trust.

Qualifications

• Adult nursing or equivalent-level science qualification.
• NMC registration, or registration with another applicable regulatory body.
• Experience in clinical research or a health/science environment.
• Evidence of continuing professional development and willingness to undertake further training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with study setup, coordination and delivery of commercial and non-commercial trials
• Recruit and consent suitable patients
• Coordinate data collection
• Arrange and conduct protocol-specified assessments and follow-up appointments
• Liaise with the wider multidisciplinary team
• Assist AI research team to ensure trials follow protocol and ICH-GCP standards
• Manage routine studies from setup to archiving with support from seniors
• Be responsible for a portfolio of trials and observational studies
