Job summary

Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Research Information Coordinator to support a Research Delivery Team across Cheltenham General Hospital and Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.

You will collect, input and manage clinical trial data, coordinate patient pathways, and liaise with Clinical Trials Units to ensure timely reporting and high-quality research information. This role supports the team in achieving NIHR KPIs and compliant research processes.

Qualifications

• Educated to a minimum of 5 GCSEs grade C / grade 4 or above (or equivalent) including Maths & English
• Ability to retrieve and input data from a variety of sources
• Excellent IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office/Google apps, with the ability to master new applications
• Self-motivated, possessing high work standards

Responsibilities

• Accurately collect, input, and maintain clinical trial data across systems and records
• Support patient recruitment and coordinate appointments in line with study protocols
• Liaise with research teams and external partners to ensure timely data reporting and query resolution
• Maintain study documentation and databases (e.g. EDGE) to a high standard
• Act as a point of contact for patients and staff, providing clear and confidential communication
• Ensure all research activity complies with protocols and Good Clinical Practice
• Support general administration of research studies, including setup, monitoring, and close-out
