Job summary

Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Research Information Coordinator to provide data support to the Research Delivery Team at Cheltenham General Hospital and Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. Responsibilities include collecting and transcribing clinical studies data, coordinating patient pathways, and liaising with Clinical Trials Units to ensure timely reporting.

You will maintain EDGE and other study records, assist with data queries, and support research clinic

Qualifications

• Educated to a minimum of 5 GCSEs grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) including Maths & English.
• Ability to retrieve and input data from a variety of sources.
• Excellent IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office/Google apps, with the ability to master new applications.
• Familiarity with clinical data and confidentiality.
• Experience of working in NHS or clinical research.

Responsibilities

• Accurately collect, input, and maintain clinical trial data across systems and records.
• Support patient recruitment and coordinate appointments in line with study protocols.
• Liaise with clinical trials units and research teams to ensure timely data reporting and query resolution.
• Maintain study documentation and databases (e.g., EDGE) to a high standard.
• Be a point of contact for patients and staff, ensuring confidential communication.
