Job summary

Panthera Biopartners in York is seeking a Clinical Trials Assistant 2 (CTA) to join our site team. The role covers laboratory sample processing, blood and urine handling, and fibroscan-related tasks, with emphasis on data collection and adherence to GCP requirements.

The successful candidate will hold a life sciences degree, have lab experience, strong attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. You will liaise with external labs and sponsors, support clinical visits, and contribute to timely,

Qualifications

Degree in life sciences or health-related field.
Experience in a laboratory setting.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
Pro-active approach and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Responsibility for sample processing (blood, urine) per study protocol.
Responsibility for taking Blood Samples.
Liaising with external lab vendors and Sponsors for safe, timely sample transfer per IATA guidelines.
Operate Fibroscanning on patients according to competency frameworks.
Data collection in line with Good Clinical Practice.
Communicate effectively with site team via email/phone.
Assist with preparation for clinical visits.
