Job summary

BioTalent is supporting a growing CRO in search of a Clinical Trial Manager to join its Clinical Operations team. The role offers the opportunity to lead a diverse portfolio of clinical studies across traditional, hybrid and decentralised trial models, working with sponsors, investigators and cross‑functional teams to ensure successful study delivery.

The successful candidate will take ownership of study management activities from start‑up through to close‑out, acting as a key operational lead

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience as a Clinical Trial Manager in CRO/biotech/pharma.
• Phase I–III trials experience; Phase IV exposure preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ICH‑GCP and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational delivery of Phase I-IV clinical trials from start-up to close-out.
• Act as primary contact for sponsors and key study stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain study timelines, project plans and risk management strategies.
• Oversee study progress, milestones and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
• Manage study budgets, forecasts and resource allocation.
• Coordinate cross-functional study teams including CRAs, regulatory, data management and vendors.
• Oversee site performance, enrolment, recruitment and retention activities.
• Identify study risks and implement mitigation plans to minimise delays and operational challenges.
• Ensure studies are conducted in accordance with protocol, ICH‑GCP, SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Review and approve key study documentation, reports and trial deliverables.
• Support investigator meetings, sponsor meetings and governance activities.
• Maintain effective communication with internal teams, vendors and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
