Job summary

Discover International, a UK-based CRO, seeks a Clinical Trial Manager to lead operational delivery of Phase I–IV trials for pharma/biotech sponsors. You will manage cross-functional teams and study timelines from start-up through close-out, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and high-quality standards.

The role requires 4+ years in CTM within CRO/pharma, line management experience, and strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and UK/EU regulations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in clinical trial management within CRO, pharma, or biotech.
• Proven line management/mentoring experience.
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and UK/EU trial regulations.
• Experience managing study budgets and vendors.
• Experience in oncology, rare disease, or cardiovascular trials.
• Life sciences degree (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end trial management for assigned studies, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
• Line-manage CRAs/CRCs, overseeing site monitoring plans and performance.
• Serve as primary point of contact for sponsors, providing status updates and risk escalation.
• Develop and manage study budgets, timelines, and vendor/CRO oversight plans.
• Ensure inspection readiness and compliance with ICH-GCP, MHRA, and sponsor SOPs.
• Lead site selection, feasibility assessments, and study start-up activities.
• Chair internal and sponsor study team meetings.
