Job summary

Buttons Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Clinical Trainer in Birmingham with travel requirements. This full-time role welcomes part-time applicants and offers hybrid working.

You will train clinical and non-clinical staff, sign off key competencies, and help shape the Learning & Development strategy within a growing care provider. Ideal candidates are Registered Nurses with clinical training experience, strong communication and presentation skills, and a passion for continuous professional

Qualifications

  • Must be a Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) with clinical training experience.
  • Proven experience in clinical training and staff development.
  • Strong knowledge of infection control, patient safety and care standards.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills required.
  • Able to travel for training sessions as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive training programmes to clinical and non-clinical staff.
  • Sign off competencies in core clinical areas relevant to care delivery.
  • Develop and implement innovative training materials and methods.
  • Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes.
  • Provide ongoing support and mentorship to staff members.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Hours: Full time/ open to Part time applicants too
Salary: 45,000 - 65,000

As the Clinical trainer your key duties and responsibilities will include:
  • Deliver comprehensive training programmes to clinical and non-clinical staff.
  • Sign off competencies in critical areas such as Tracheotomies, Stoma care, Ventilation, and Catheter care.
  • Develop and implement innovative training materials and methods.
  • Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes.
  • Provide ongoing support and mentorship to staff members.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
The ideal person for this Clinical Trainer will need these skills and experiences:
  • Must be a Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD).
  • Proven experience in clinical training and staff development.
