NHS Shetland is offering a substantive full-time Clinical Team Leader (General Practice Nurse/Non Doctor Islands) role (Ref: 261114) based in Shetland. You will join the Community Nursing Team and provide first-line leadership while applying clinical expertise in a senior capacity.

You should be at Band 6 level or above with 3+ years in a practice nursing or community setting; non-medical prescriber with advanced clinical examination skills is essential, with a Masters preferred.

Competenze

• Band 6+ with 3+ years at senior level in community or practice nursing.
• Non-Medical Prescriber with Advanced Clinical Examination skills.
• Desirable: Masters level qualification (SCQF level 11).

Mansioni

• Share first line management and leadership responsibility for the service, while applying clinical expertise operationally.
• Support and lead the Community Nursing Team including District/General Practice/Community Treatment Room Nurses and Non-Doctor Island Nurses.
