Job summary

Provide CIC is offering a Clinical Support Worker role within the Essex Sexual Health Service. The post combines front-of-house duties, such as meeting and greeting and client registration, with clinical support tasks including assisting with procedures and acting as a chaperone.

It also covers stock organisation, clinic set-up and break-down, use of the electronic record system, and participation in a Saturday rota as part of contracted hours.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience.
• Experience of working in a sexual health or healthcare setting.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet, client registration, stock organisation, clinic set up and close down.
• Assist with clinical procedures and act as a chaperone.
• Delivery of health promotion and information sessions across clinical and non-clinical environments.
