University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Clinic Support Worker to join the Sexual Health and Contraception Service in Brighton. You will train to a basic competency level, working across three sites with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

The role requires NHS experience or an international qualification with ENIC verification and a Care Certificate. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work confidentially and non-judgementally are essential.

Qualifications

• NHS/NHS primary care experience required or an internationally educated clinician with ENIC verification.
• Care Certificate from an Ofqual regulated awarding organisation is essential.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills at a level equivalent to vocational qualification level 3, evidenced by a practice portfolio or discussions.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to support the integrated sexual health and contraception service.
• Perform venepuncture and assist with intimate genital examinations as trained.
• Prepare the clinical area and assist with clinics (genital biopsy, Horizon, IUD/IUS, implants).
• Work autonomously in venepuncture and microscopy after competency; contribute to patient observations and health promotion.
• Work across Brighton and Hove sites, with some evenings and weekends.
