Job summary

Provide CIC is seeking a developmental Integrated Sexual Health Nurse role to enhance clinical skills in STI testing, contraception, and reproductive health across Suffolk clinics.

You will be a Registered Nurse, travel between sites, work evenings and Saturdays, and access structured training to develop frontline care, data management, and evidence-based practice in a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse with valid pin and safeguarding knowledge.
• Willingness to undertake practical and professionally accredited training.
• Experience in integrated sexual health and STI management.
• Ability to travel between Suffolk clinics and work evenings/Saturdays.
• Contraception qualification or currently working towards.
• Experience with PGDs and electronic patient records.
• Strong communication and professional development orientation.

Responsibilities

• Develop awareness of STI risks and management methods.
• Develop skills in sexual health promotion and referral.
• Provide STI testing and follow referral policies.
• Develop integrated sexual health assessments for males and females.
• Participate in results management of STIs and RTIs after training.
• Carry out venipuncture for STI testing.
• Assess clients for STI risk and advise accordingly.
• Achieve clinical competencies per development plan and framework.
• Undertake training for PGD use and apply in practice.
• Work towards completion of FSRH e-knowledge assessment and Diploma.
• Training in implant fitting/removal as appropriate.
• Develop competence in results management and non-face-to-face interventions.
