Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals is seeking a Clinical Support Worker to assist the Sexual Health and Contraception Service across Brighton sites. The role includes venepuncture and microscopy training, with a focus on patient-centered care.

This position offers visa sponsorship under the UKVI Skilled Worker route; relevant NHS experience and Care Certificate are valued. Flexibility to cover evenings and weekends is required to meet service needs.

Qualificações

• Must have NHS or NHS primary care experience.
• Care Certificate (Ofqual) or equivalent international licensure evidenced.
• Willingness to work evenings/weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high quality nursing care within the integrated sexual health and contraception service.
• Perform venepuncture, assist with genital examinations, collect specimens and deliver contraception care.
• Act as a chaperone and perform diagnostic microscopy.
• Prepare clinical area and assist with genital biopsy, Horizon, IUD/IUS and implant clinic.
• Work autonomously when undertaking venepuncture and microscopy and make clinical diagnoses based on microscopy.
• Work across hub and spoke sites around Brighton & Hove, with some evenings and weekends.
