Job summary

NHS Forth Valley's Falkirk District Nursing team is seeking a Clinical Support Worker to join a Multidisciplinary Team, delivering routine patient care in the home setting under supervision. You will be involved in venepuncture, medications administration, catheter care and other clinical tasks with training as needed.

You will also provide care for palliative and end-of-life patients in their own homes, supporting MDT colleagues, and traveling across the district.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Clinical Support Worker or similar role.
• Willingness to travel within the district for patient care.
• Membership of the PVG Scheme or willingness to apply.
• Excellent communication and IT literacy with basic record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care as part of the MDT under supervision.
• Carry out venepuncture, medicines administration and catheter care as trained.
• Contribute to palliative and end-of-life care in patients' homes.
• Support staff nurses and student nurses; work independently when appropriate.
