Job summary

James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Great Yarmouth is seeking a Clinical Support Assistant to deliver a broad range of clinical support across the Trust, including venepuncture, cannulation and ECGs, with phlebotomy clinic cover as required.

The post involves 12-hour shifts (07:00–19:30), mainly on weekdays, and requires strong communication, flexibility, and independence to support safe, timely patient care within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking venepuncture, cannulation, and ECG procedures across the Trust.
• Providing cover and support within the Phlebotomy Clinic as required.
• Supporting clinical teams in delivering efficient patient care.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to Trust policies and procedures.
