The Study Operations Manager will be fully embedded within an expanding program, responsible for study and regional or country-specific activities from startup through conduct and closeout. This role involves managing study aspects of limited complexity (e.g., single country, few sites) or managing a specific part of a larger study (e.g., recruitment and retention). You will be accountable for executing moderately complex tasks and developing solutions to support project deliverables.


  • Implement Regional/Country/Study level Startup and Site Activation Plans (via SUPM or pCRO if assigned)
  • Develop and execute Recruitment Strategies at the regional, country, and study levels
  • Support the development of study-level plans
  • Communicate effectively with local teams, internal stakeholders, and pCROs to ensure timely and efficient study delivery
  • Manage and oversee vendors at the study and country levels, including follow-up and coordination of deliverables
  • Coordinate follow-up on regional/site QEs, PDs, data issues, metrics review, site risks, audit responses, etc.
  • Work independently, exercising judgment and problem-solving skills

Requirements for Success:

  • BA/BS degree with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • MBA/MS or 3+ years of industry experience in trial management
  • Extensive experience working within the UK market
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice, clinical and regulatory operations in the responsible countries
  • Full right to work in the UK
