Responsibilities

Working fully embedded within an expanding program, the Study Operations Manager will be responsible for study and regional or specific country-level activities from study startup through conduct and close. The Study Operations Manager oversees study management aspects of studies of limited complexity (e.g., single country, few sites) or manages a specific part of a larger study (e.g., recruitment and retention). You will execute tasks of moderate complexity and develop solutions to support project deliverables.

  • Regional/Country/Study level implementation of Startup and Site Activation Plans (via SUPM or pCRO if assigned)
  • Regional/Country/Study level Recruitment Strategy
  • Support the development of study-level plans
  • Communicate with local teams, internal stakeholders, and pCROs to ensure efficient and timely study delivery
  • Manage and oversee study/vendor activities, including follow-up and coordination of vendor deliverables
  • Coordinate with Regional/site QEs, PDs, data issues, metrics review, site issues/risks, audit responses, etc.
  • Work independently, exercising judgment in decision-making
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • BA/BS degree with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • MBA/MS degree with 3+ years of industry trial management experience
  • Extensive experience working across the UK market
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice, clinical and regulatory operations in responsible countries
  • Full right to work in the UK
