University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is pleased to offer a fantastic opportunity to join our team.
This role involves providing advanced clinical therapy within our paediatric hand and upper limb service at Southampton Children’s Hospital. The position is a fixed-term Band 8a role for a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with extensive experience in hand therapy, working with children across a broad age range, from neonatal to adolescents.
We seek a motivated, enthusiastic hand therapist with leadership, MDT working, teaching, and research experience. You should have a proven track record working with children and managing complex cases, including post-operative care and rehabilitation.
Applicants must have a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy, current HCPC registration, and significant clinical experience in relevant areas. Experience in fabricating thermoplastic splints, managing post-operative cases, and working within multidisciplinary teams is essential. Membership in BAHT is desirable.
