Position Overview

As a Field Clinical Specialist, you are a critical part of the THV field team working closely with heart centers, physicians, and hospital staff to provide clinical support for Edwards’ TAVI procedures. You possess deep product knowledge and a clear understanding of heart pathophysiology and aortic stenosis patients. You are the face of Edwards to physicians.
Territory: Coventry, Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Leicester

• Edwards’s product & portfolio knowledge: Detailed understanding of Edwards products and services, acting as a thought leader and trusted partner in your region to drive performance and therapy awareness.
• Disease & therapy knowledge: Extensive knowledge of aortic stenosis, patient conditions, and device utilization, serving as a trusted resource for implanters and customers.
• Clinical data expertise: Ability to interpret clinical research and data, linking outcomes to real patient settings.
• OR/Cath Lab management: Support during procedures, familiarity with OR/Cath Lab processes, and demonstrating leadership and effective communication under stress.
• Imaging expertise: Proficient in reading and interpreting imaging data such as echocardiography and CT scans, supporting treatment decisions and planning.
• Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business metrics, competitor products, and effective communication with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
• Customer Leadership: Building relationships, providing education, and certifying heart centers, physicians, and staff.
• Teamwork and Leadership: Ability to work independently and collaboratively, sharing best practices and influencing change.

Skills required:

• Hands-on technical skills for complex anatomical procedures.
• Proficiency in echocardiography and interventional cardiology preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholders.

• Self-motivated, professional, ethical, and adaptable.
• Proficiency with MS Office and willingness to learn new software.
• Proficiency in echocardiographic equipment (TEE, TTE, ICE) preferred.

• Experience in cardiac Cath lab and/or OR.
• Up to 80% travel within the UK (Midlands), valid driving license required.
