Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Brighton and Hove, Children and Young People's Mental Health Service (CAMHS). This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide vital support to young people (0-18 years) with mental health difficulties and their families/carers.

Main Duties
  • Operate as a specialist occupational therapy practitioner, providing high-quality assessment and intervention to children and young people.
  • Demonstrate relevant occupational therapy skills and knowledge, including applying models of practice, standardized assessments, and evidence-based practices.
  • Act as a lead specialist within the team, providing mental health support, initial assessments, and care coordination for service users and their families.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team including nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists, family therapists, and child psychotherapists.
