Are you an experienced dietitian seeking a role within an in-patient setting? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dietitian to join the acute adult team at Fairfield Hospital.
This position offers the chance to work in specialist areas including stroke, parenteral nutrition, and critical care. You will also work with in-patients with eating disorders and disordered eating admitted for acute medical intervention.
You will have opportunities to expand your knowledge and skills, develop and participate in staff teaching and training, and maintain your professional development.
You will play a key role in developing the dietetic service, including auditing clinical practice and enhancing patient care. Additionally, you will support and supervise student placements and Dietetic Assistants, and contribute to raising the profile of dietetics.
You will be involved in developing, implementing, and auditing patient care practices as part of Clinical Governance. Development posts will be considered.
As the clinical lead for dietetics, you will work alongside senior colleagues to provide quality nutritional assessment and intervention, ensuring evidence-based practice and supporting service development.
