Job summary

Public Health Wales is seeking a supervising and training lead for the Wales Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening Programme. The role focuses on ensuring screener competency, overseeing quality assurance, and delivering clinical skills training to new staff.

The post may require travel to cover training across the north west of Wales, within an inclusive, public health framework. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the approved training course prior to screening independently within the programme.
• Ability to oversee supervision and QA processes for AAA screeners.
• Provide clinical skills training and supervision to new staff joining the screening team.
• Role involves training across the north west of Wales.

• Deliver and supervise clinical skills training for new screeners.
