Clinical Safety Officer / Quality Assurance Manager

We're looking for a registered and experienced clinician to take on a vital dual role: Clinical Safety Officer and Quality Assurance Manager. If you're passionate about safe, high-quality care and want to help shape the future of healthcare delivery through innovation, we want to hear from you.

About the Role
As part of our growing team, you'll be responsible for overseeing clinical safety across our digital platforms and services, ensuring we meet the highest standards of care. You'll also drive quality assurance processes across Welby Innovate, helping embed a culture of continuous improvement and robust clinical governance.

Working alongside our operational, technical, and clinical leads, you'll ensure that our systems and services are compliant, safe, and designed around the people who use them.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Acting as Clinical Safety Officer in line with DCB0129/DCB0160 standards
  • Developing and maintaining safety cases and clinical risk management documentation
  • Designing and implementing a structured Quality Assurance Management System
  • Leading incident reviews, audits, and quality improvement activities
  • Supporting the design and safe deployment of new digital solutions
  • Ensuring regulatory and governance requirements are fully met
  • Providing clinical assurance to internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience:
  • A registered clinician (NMC, GMC, or HCPC)
  • Significant experience in clinical practice and/or governance
  • Understanding of DCB0129/DCB0160 or willingness to develop expertise
  • A strong grasp of patient safety, digital health, and quality systems
  • Collaborative, pragmatic, and confident working in a fast-moving environment
