Job summary

MAC Clinical Research is seeking a Clinical Research Physician 2 with Sub-Investigator or Principal Investigator experience to lead commercial trials in a CRO/SMO setting. The role offers a clear development path toward Chief Investigator, with funded Diploma in Pharmaceutical Medicine and PMST support.

The position is onsite at the Blackpool, Lancashire clinic, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and contribute to ongoing research initiatives.

Qualifications

• Full and current GMC registration (essential).
• 4 years post-graduation experience (essential).
• 2 years pharmaceutical experience - and working consistently to a high level (essential).

Responsibilities

• Fulfil the role of Sub Investigator / Principal Investigator where delegated.
• Provide medical care and oversight of trial participants, including eligibility assessment and AE review.
• Ensure trial procedures comply with ICH-GCP and the protocol.
• Take part in site monitoring visits and assist in protocol development and ethics submissions.
• Maintain study documentation, source notes and sign-off as appropriate.
• Lead team training and contribute to site KPI attainment.
