Job summary

EPM Scientific is seeking a GMC-registered physician to act as Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator across a portfolio of clinical trials. You will deliver medical oversight and safeguard participant safety in line with ICH-GCP and protocol requirements.

You will review eligibility criteria, medical histories, labs, and adverse events; support feasibility and start-up activities; and engage with sponsors.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered physician with clinical trial experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of clinical research and GCP principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as PI or Sub-Investigator across a portfolio of clinical trials.
• Conduct medical assessments and ensure participant safety throughout study participation.
• Review eligibility criteria, medical histories, lab data, and adverse events.
• Support study feasibility, start-up activities, and sponsor engagement.
• Ensure studies conform to ICH-GCP, protocol requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Provide medical oversight to research staff.
• Participate in sponsor meetings, monitoring visits, and audits.
• Contribute to growth and clinical excellence of the organisation.
