Job summary

Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Research Nurse to join our established team. The role focuses on delivering clinical research, recruiting patients, and coordinating data collection across multiple specialties.

The successful candidate will develop research delivery skills, work flexibly across hospital sites, and benefit from induction, training, mentorship, and buddy support. Prior research nursing experience is encouraged but not required.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Commitment to continuing professional development.
• Willingness to work across two hospital sites and support research delivery.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to setup and delivery of research studies.
• Identify potential patients for trial entry and assist in consent.
• Manage a caseload, collect data, and coordinate tests per protocols.
• Support senior researchers and mentor colleagues in clinical research.
