Job summary

Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Research Administrator Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality clinical research across Somerset. You will work with the Clinical Research Team to administer, set up, maintain and close studies, while ensuring accurate record keeping and excellent participant support.

This permanent, full-time role is based across sites including Musgrove Park Hospital and Yeovil District Hospital.

Qualifications

• Experience in NHS or similar organisation setting.
• Experience in clinical data collection or audit.
• Experience handling personal confidential information.
• Proficiency with MS Office and electronic file management.

Responsibilities

• Support setup, maintenance and closure of clinical research studies.
• Assist with administration and governance documentation.
• Ensure accurate record keeping and participant support.
• Contribute to data management and reporting if required.
