Shaftesbury Treetops in Colchester, Essex, is seeking a Registered Manager to lead a 21-bed high-dependency nursing home with a focus on clinical excellence and compassionate, person-centred care.

You will oversee governance, quality of care, and multidisciplinary teamwork, ensuring staff feel valued and supported to deliver safe and dignified care. The role requires vision, resilience and a commitment to residents’ wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with professional registration (NMC).
• Experience leading a care or nursing service balancing clinical quality, operations and regulatory responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of clinical governance, safe nursing practice, quality assurance and risk management.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team.
• Visible, approachable, person-centred leadership style building relationships with residents, families and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong, visible leadership across the service to create a positive culture.
• Ensure residents receive high-quality care and staff feel valued and supported.
