Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain is recruiting a Clinical Psychologist to join the health and wellbeing team at Swanwick Lodge Secure Children's Home in Hampshire. The role is a 30-hour post at Band 7 with a route to Band 8a, and regular supervision.

HCPC registration, or progress toward it, and systemic practice training are required. You will provide individual psychological work with young people, embed the SECURE STAIRS framework, deliver staff training, and contribute to multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Doctoral level training in applied psychology
• Systemic practice training equivalent to the foundation year, or working towards it
• HCPC registration, or working towards it

Responsibilities

• Carry out individual psychological work with young people in the home
• Embed and champion the SECURE STAIRS framework within the integrated team
• Offer wellbeing support to the wider home team
• Deliver training to staff
• Provide reflective spaces for staff
• Support the integrated team to develop formulations for the young people
• Work as part of the multi-disciplinary health and wellbeing team

Education
