Job Description:

The post holder will be responsible for an allocated number of patients, delivering therapeutic assessments and interventions. Working with children, young people, and adults with Eating Disorders and/or Anxiety and Mood Disorders.

At Schoen Clinic Chelsea, we expect our therapists to have regular clinical supervision and to be up-to-date with the latest evidence-based interventions. The Psychologist/Psychotherapist may be asked to oversee, manage, and supervise Assistant Psychologists or Therapy Assistants.

We strive to deliver excellent care and treatment with a strong quality agenda. Routine Outcome Measures are collected to inform audit and research. The Psychologist/Psychotherapist will collaborate with the Assistant Psychologist, Service Manager, and our Quality Management team to develop and utilize data for service improvement.

Principle Duties:

• Offer high-quality therapeutic services at Schoen Clinic Chelsea
• Participate as part of the MDT team in developing and delivering group/day programmes
• Work with the Service Manager and Pathway Lead to improve services in line with growth and national guidance
• Support research projects related to eating, anxiety, and depression disorders
• Conduct psychological assessments and review patients regularly in MDT meetings
• Assess risk and develop management plans for psychological care
• Review developmental history and care plans, acting as a key worker for your caseload
• Develop, deliver, and monitor treatment programs with the MDT
• Practice with cultural competency and promote equality, diversity, and inclusion
• Support and develop therapeutic interventions based on best practices
• Supervise Assistant Psychologists and/or other clinical colleagues as appropriate
