This maternity cover role involves working in a small, multidisciplinary team to provide psychological interventions for young people with eating disorders and their families. You will collaborate with psychological therapists and other professionals. The role is based in Norwich, with occasional travel across Norfolk and Suffolk.
We provide regular supervision, specialist training, and professional development opportunities, including CBT for eating disorders.
We seek a skilled, committed, and motivated individual with excellent communication and organizational skills, and an interest in working with families and young people. Experience with eating disorders is preferred but not essential. Flexible working arrangements are possible.
The role includes assessment, formulation, and psychological treatment of individuals with eating disorders and co-morbidities, clinical responsibility for complex cases, supporting service development projects, providing supervision, and consulting to colleagues and external agencies. Skills in systemic practice and CBT are desirable.
