We are seeking a creative, forward-thinking, and motivated Practitioner Psychologist to join our adult CMHT based in Gateway House, Wymondham. The successful candidate will join a team of psychological therapists, including Clinical Psychologists, Counselling Psychologists, Art Therapists, Clinical Associate Psychologists, DBT therapists, and Assistant Psychologists, providing consultation, assessment, formulation, and treatment for working adults requiring secondary care mental health input.
The psychology team operates as part of our multidisciplinary adult community mental health team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dedicated, growing team committed to making a difference to patients, carers, and colleagues. The role covers the geographical area of South Norfolk.
The successful applicant will be part of the psychology team within the South Norfolk CMHT, providing consultation, assessment, formulation, and treatment to adults needing secondary care mental health services. Opportunities to participate in group programs such as MBT and Emotional Regulation, as well as contribute to service improvement projects, audits, research, and evaluation, will be available. The team has expertise in therapies including CBT, CAT, EMDR, ACT, Psychodynamic, MDT, and DBT. The post-holder will be supported to develop their therapeutic skills through training and CPD.
