An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 8b Clinical Psychologist to work within NSFT in the East Suffolk Older Adults acute ward (Willows, Ipswich Hospital) and Dementia Intensive Support Service (DISTE), in Ipswich and the surrounding area.
This role involves leading the development of the older people’s mental health pathway, working as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team, and supporting mental health recovery in older adults. You will have the support of a qualified Clinical Associate Psychologist and psychological therapists, and be part of a large, supportive team across East Suffolk.
You will play a key role in further developing the pathway in line with our transformation objectives. This is a clinical leadership position, supporting your professional growth. You will deliver high-quality assessments and treatments focusing on formulation within the older people’s mental health pathway in Ipswich. Additionally, you will provide supervision, training, and reflective practice to staff.
