Location:

Various Locations available:

  • Danetre Hospital, Northampton General Hospital, Kettering General Hospital and Isebrook Hospital
Working Patterns:

Full-time and part-time hours available

Competitive salary:

DHU Band 8a.0, £53,770 - £60,721 per annum (pro rata)

We also offer a 30% evening enhancement and a 45% weekend enhancement

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct autonomous clinical assessments, treatments, referrals, and provide advice to first-contact patients across various clinical conditions through direct contact consultations.
  • Communicate effectively, establishing rapport with patients and caregivers, making confident decisions, and ensuring clarity and understanding.
  • Recognize and initiate appropriate advice of relevant specialisms.
  • Maintain clinical records in line with current practice guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
  • Registered Adult Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), Paramedic with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC), or Pharmacist with the GPhC.
  • Evidence of autonomous practice - Autonomous practice A33
  • Level 6 or 7 clinical examination module
  • Level 6 or 7 minor illness module
  • Emergency care practitioner qualification
  • Motivation, passion, positivity, resilience, and dedication to patient care.
  • RCN accredited nurse practitioner module
  • Right to work in the UK
