Job summary

NHS Tayside Pharmacy Services is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the Clinical Pharmacy Team at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. You will contribute to medicines reconciliation, discharge planning and medicines optimisation, within a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.

Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council is required; full VT Foundation training is supported. This role offers development opportunities and a path to Band 5 with ongoing professional growth across pharmacy

Qualifications

• Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Full training provided in medicines management and governance.
• Strong organisational and communication skills for a fast-paced MDT environment.
• Enthusiasm for professional development and helping optimise NHS resources.

Responsibilities

• Support medicines reconciliation, discharge planning and medicines optimisation.
• Contribute to medicines governance and safe patient care across inpatient services.
• Work within an integrated multidisciplinary team to improve service efficiency and patient experience.
