Job summary

Hinckley & Bosworth Medical Alliance is seeking a part-time Clinical Pharmacist to join Barwell Medical Centre, 17 hours per week. The post supports safe, effective medicines use and structured medication reviews within a multidisciplinary team.

The role involves working with GPs and other health professionals to optimise care, with flexible patterns aligned to practice hours and pro rata salary. Applications are encouraged early.

Qualifications

• Completion of an undergraduate degree in Pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Experience in GP practice is desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide a Clinical Pharmacy service within GP practices in the PCN.
• Undertake structured medication reviews and optimise prescribing.
• Manage medicines on transfer of care and ensure safe, effective patient care.
• Support long-term condition management and medicines reconciliation.
• Contribute to audits and service development within primary care.
