Job summary

Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust is seeking an experienced pharmacist to join the pharmacy service in the Salisbury area. The role involves integrating into both the pharmacy team and clinical teams, delivering medicines optimisation and collaborative care for inpatients, community teams, and primary care partners.

Qualifications

• Clinical pharmacist with mental health experience.
• Strong communication with multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel to sites within the AWP geography.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy service to inpatient wards and community teams.
• Offer specialist pharmaceutical expertise to MDTs and answer medicines information queries.
• Attend multidisciplinary rounds and ward rounds.
• Educate and train staff across the Trust on medicines issues.
• Advise service users and carers about medicines.
• Participate in audits and projects to improve the pharmacy service.
