Job summary

Tendring PCN is seeking a qualified clinical pharmacist to join our team at Caradoc Surgery in Frinton-on-Sea. The role is full-time and fully on-site, within a supportive network focused on integrated care.

The successful candidate will lead medicines optimisation and provide pharmaceutical services across the practice, with involvement in public health campaigns and education for patients. We offer 25 days annual leave, NHS pension, flexible working hours, peer support, and a friendly

Qualifications

• Degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Post-qualification experience in pharmacy (hospital, primary care or community).
• Qualified independent prescriber (desirable).
• Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS).
• Awareness of common acute and long-term conditions in general practice.

Responsibilities

• Clinically assess and treat patients using medicines knowledge.
• Provide specialist medicines information and education to patients.
• Lead medicines optimisation and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support public health campaigns including vaccination programmes.
• Coordinate medication reviews and monitor complex long-term conditions.
