Job summary

Boots is seeking a pharmacist who will use clinical expertise daily in a community setting. You will work with a brilliant team and apply in-store and digital tools to deliver trusted care and services, keeping patients at the centre.

You will lead patient safety, ensure pharmacy compliance, and continually improve standards of care. You’ll coach colleagues, collaborate with the Store Manager and engage with local healthcare professionals to advance Boots services.

Qualifications

• Registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI).
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience leading patient and customer care within a pharmacy setting.
• Passion for delivering essential, advanced and private services.
• Collaborative, team-first mindset with willingness to coach others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver NHS, locally commissioned and private services using in-store and digital tools.
• Lead professional and legal standards for patient safety and pharmacy compliance.
• Monitor, evaluate and continually improve standards of care and safety.
• Work with the Store Manager to develop the capability of the wider healthcare team.
• Grow talent reflecting the communities served; coach and mentor colleagues.
• Represent Boots within the local community and with healthcare professionals.
