NHS Borders is seeking a forward-thinking clinical pharmacist to join their team at Borders General Hospital. We wish to recruit forward-thinking clinical pharmacists to join our clinical pharmacy team based at Borders General Hospital, providing services throughout NHS Borders.
You will receive training and experience in a variety of clinical services, dispensary, and aseptic services designed to meet your personal development needs.
Our friendly and experienced teams will support you as you provide pharmaceutical care to a variety of patient groups, including Medicine, Surgery, Orthopaedics, Care of the Elderly, Cardiology, Stroke, Cancer care, Palliative care, Mental Health, and Intensive care. You will be encouraged to undertake continuous professional development, including Post Registration Foundation Training, independent prescribing, or other postgraduate studies depending on your experience and needs. You will also support NHS foundation pharmacists, both BGH-based and community-based, during their hospital sector placement.
This post involves being part of the on-call rota and weekend working rota.
