Job summary

Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) is seeking a GPhC-registered Clinical Pharmacist (Band 8A) to lead advanced medicines management at HMP Morton Hall, Swinderby STHF and HMP North Sea Camp.

You will provide expert clinical input across primary care, substance misuse and mental health, supervise technicians, and help develop services across the prison cluster.

Qualifications

• GPhC-registered pharmacist with a strong background in clinical pharmacy.
• Experience in secure environments or mental health settings is desirable.
• Ready to lead advanced medicines management services and supervise staff.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will:

• Lead and evaluate comprehensive medicines management services.
• Provide expert clinical pharmacy input across primary care, substance misuse, and mental health.
• Ensure compliance with medicines legislation and governance.

Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and contribute to service development across the East Midlands prison cluster.
