An exciting development opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic nurse to work in a specialist role within the field of Urogynaecology based at St Peters Hospital. The position can start at Band 6 (£39,205 - £47,084) with training provided to progress to Band 7 (£48,270 - £54,931) for less experienced candidates.
The post involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team, including lead nurses, consultants, physiotherapists, and community continence teams. Experience in Urology, Urogynaecology, Gynaecology, or Continence Care is essential, with training available through recognized courses and mentorship from MDT members.
The candidate should be confident working independently and within a team to facilitate patient care pathways. Good clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills are required, along with adaptability and competence in individual work after training.
The role includes undertaking nurse-led clinics, managing pelvic floor dysfunction, performing investigations like urodynamics, and reviewing treatments post-surgery or conservatively.
